The two couples left perform four dances in a battle to find a winner.

First to dance were Ricky Whittle and Natalie Lowe dancing the Quickstep.

I thought it was a very smooth performance.

The judges said - Amazing, best Quickstep of the series, incredible, professional and sophisticated.

The couple scored a total of 50 points.


Chris Hollins and Ola Jordans first dance was the Foxtrot.

This too was a good performance.

The judges said - A pleasure to watch, elegant and charming, good footwork, but it lacked 'swing' and 'sway'.

The couple scored a total of 46 points.


For the second dance they both performed the Lindy Hop at the same time.

Both couples danced well.

The judges said Ricky's lifts were good, cleanly executed.

They said Chris held his own, there was nothing between the two couples. They said he had good control.

The judges scored Ricky Whittle and Natalie Lowe 43.

They scored Chris Hollins and Ola Jordan 44.


The third dance for Ricky Whittle and Natalie Lowe was the Cha Cha Cha.

A great performance.

The judges said - a sexy couple to watch, very slick and cool, polished.

The couple scored a total of 48 points.


Chris Hollins and Ola Jordans third dance was the Charleston.

Absolutely brilliant.

The judges said - Classic, dynamic, animated - this is the best final ever. Fantastic entertainment.

The couple scored a total of 50 points.


With one dance each left the tension was building.


The last dance for Chris Hollins and Ola Jordan was the Showdance.

I loved it.

The judges said - perfect timing, good lifts, they said he gave it 100%, they loved it, a great performance.

The couple scored a total of 46 points.

This gave them a grand total of 186.


Ricky Whittle and Natalie Lowes last dance was a Freestyle.

I thought it was excellent.

The judges said - 'the one to beat'. The best dancer, superb lifts, a joy to watch, brilliant. One said 'Liftastic'. Incredible.

The couple scored a total of 49 points.

This gave them a grand total of 190.


Votes were finally counted and the couple with the highest number of votes and therefore winners of the Strictly Come Dancing 2009 competition were Chris Hollins and Ola Jordan.
