Mikhail Nikolaevich Baryshnikov

Mikhail Nikolaevich Baryshnikov - of which one critic said - "The most perfect dancer I have ever seen".

Over the years he has been nominated - and won - a variety of awards.

Born in the Soviet Union - he commenced ballet at the tender age of 15.

In his early years he joined the National Ballet of Canada. Later on he joined the American Ballet Theatre and became one of their most valid members.

He had a legendary partnership with Gelsey Kirkland and it is noted that their most favourite piece of work together is Tchikovsy's "The Nutcracker". Take a peek below -
