Strictly 1 Part 2

Here is a summary of what went on in Strictly 1 Part 2 ------
I hope you all enjoyed watching Strictly 1 part 2 in this years competition.

Jade Johnson and Ian Waite were first to dance to the Cha Cha Cha.

Jade wore a skimpy Yellow outfit - her rhythm was good. It was an excellent start to the evening.

The judges said they were looking for good rhythm and a fun performance. They said the dance suited her and that she had strong legs, but the dance was not perfect - her arms could have been better, however they said it was full of energy.

The couple scored a total of 27 - making a grand total of 52 when added to the previous evenings score.

Second couple to dance were Ali Bastian and Brian Fortuna dancing to the Rumba.

Ali wore a gown of Lilac and Pink.

Judges said they were looking for Chemistry - which they did see and also said her lines were good.

Although they did say to her to watch her 'core'.

The couple scored a total of 30 - making a grand total of 60 when added to the previous evenings score.

Third couple to perform were Lynda Bellingham and Darren Bennet dancing the Cha Cha Cha.

She wore a lovely red dress - it seemed she was struggling a little with the fast steps.

The judges said she had spirit but lacked 'Hip Action'. They said the performance was neat and sharp but her timing was poor.

The couple scored a total of 23 - making a grand total of 44 when added to the previous evenings score.

Fourth couple up were Rav Wilding and Aliona Vilani dancing the Rumba.

Aliona wore a skimpy costume with some white lace on it.

One of the judges said it was a 'smouldering' performace, yet another said it was awkward.

The couple scored a total of 22 - making a grand total of 41 when added to the previous evenings score.

Fifth couple to dance were Chris Hollins and Ola Jordan dancing the Rumba.

She wore Silver and Black - the outfit was very tiny.

I thought they looked very smooth on the dance floor.

The judges said they were 'Brilliant' with good 'emotional contact', but they did point out a problem with the position of Chris's fingers.

The couple scored a total of 30 - making a grand total of 56 when added to the previous evenings score.

Sixth couple on the floor were Joe Calzaghe and Kristina Rihanoff dancing the Ch Cha Cha.

Kristina wore a very tiny outfit.

The judges said they had potential but Joe had poor footwork and no rhythm. They said his moves were a little stiff.

The couple scored a total of 16 - making a grand total of 32 when added to the previous evenings score.

Seventh couple to take the floor were Martina Hingis and Matthew Cutler dancing the Rumba.

Martina wore Purple and Silver.

The judges said her arms were a little 'Flyaway' but she did show potential, however they noticed she was a little flat-footed, but said she was nice to watch.

The couple scored a total of 24 - making a grand total of 46 when added to the previous evenings score.

Last couple of the evening were Ricky Groves and Erin Boag dancing the Cha Cha Cha.

Erin wore a Green and Pink 2 piece.

They started with a dramatic entrance and there were plenty of facial expressions from Ricky. The judges said it was fun to watch but was lacking in technique. It was an awkward performance but had plenty of spirit.

The couple scored a total of 26 - making a grand total of 47 when added to the previous evenings score.

Votes were finally counted and the 2 couples with the lowest scores in the dance-off were - Rav Wilding and Alioni Vilani against Martina Hingis and Matthew Cutler.

The couple the judges decided should leave were - Martina and Matthew.
